A case of Trial and Error!

From the Affiliates Perspective.

While Affiliate marketing enables the affiliate to avoid the headaches of having to ship products and all the administration that goes along with that, it does present other challenges.

You as the affiliate are in general funding the acquisition of a customer for another business. You generally only get paid once for your efforts by the company. So You are missing out on the backend residual value of creating that customer. Providing you can make the sale at a profit this may not bother you of course. However, when the company decides to pull that product from its inventory you may feel differently. All of a sudden, all the hard work involved in optimizing your campaigns and advertising are now over and your revenue stream is gone!

Again this may not bother you. However once this happens more often than not, it surely will.
Let us not forget the time consuming trial and error and costs involved in finding and establishing those profitable niches!

So, Affiliate marketing can be profitable and an excellent way to learn to sell products online but after a certain point you will want to seriously consider how you can leverage your new skill to greater effect! By retaining your customer and having more control over the products you are selling.
